Y’EST Coffee Works – Bangkok Coffee Spot

Y’EST COFFEE WORKS

Caffeinated passion flows through this branch of Y’EST. And for good reasons, as quite a few aficionados of a quality brew regularly opt for a visit to this Sukhumvit Soi 21/23 establishment.

Almost hidden away from the naked eye, it is fairly common to miss this narrow street-side brewing paradise; its unnoticeable façade amongst local restaurants and the ubiquitous 24-hour convenience stores seem to fade away against the electricity cable-loaded pavement. What it lacks in exterior presence makes it up for internal hues of the coffee kind.

Like an apothecary, chemists with an aptitude for bean roasting wander effortlessly from blending beans to filling its brown-coloured bottles with a variety of Thailand-based Arabica while patrons sit leisurely at one of the few wooden seating arrangements, Y’EST has laid out to enjoy a cuppa or two. Something is satisfying yet intangible flowing here – be it its love for its plethora of caffeinated drinks (hot or cold) or simply taking aim on creating an environment where savouring coffee is taking centre stage.

Besides a collection of nutty, bold and fruitfulness in its brews, this Japanese-owned coffee shop is home to some carefully picked exotic beans, mainly venturing away from the Robusta type. The baristas at Y’EST know their stuff and advice according to how you want your taste palette to be tantalized.

With a clear map of what type of ground bean may fill your cup, we have found the venue a little treasure unbeknownst by many and an excellent alternative for a less-commercial driven moment of me and my coffee.
